Wyatt Russell and Meredith Hagner, stars of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, are looking forward to growing their family by welcoming another child. Russell told E! News that 2-year-old Buddy is very excited and “prepared as can be” for the arrival of his sibling.
They recently sold their charming 1930’s Tujunga Village home and purchased a larger family-sized property.

Wyatt Russell and Meredith Hagner have announced they are expecting their second child together – a sister for Buddy, their two-year-old son. “We’re very excited,” Russell told E! News, adding, “whether it be boy or girl it will be absolutely great!”
Falcon and Winter Soldier actor Sebastian Stan has revealed Buddy is fully prepared to step into his new role as big brother. They first met on set of 2016’s Folk Hero & Funny Guy film and soon after got engaged two years later; later that September they married at Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s Aspen home.
Fellow actors Viola Davis and Oprah Daily sent congratulations via Twitter, leaving red heart emojis. Meanwhile, Crazy Rich Asians actress Constance Wu announced her second pregnancy via social media, posting a picture with an expecting belly to Instagram in February 2023 and informing fans there is “a bun in the oven”. Night Swim will hit theaters Jan 5.
Buddy Is Looking Forward to Having a Sibling
Wyatt Russell told E! News that Buddy, who turned two this March, is eagerly preparing to assume his new role and cannot wait until it finally arrives – adding that Buddy is “really excited to meet his little bro!”

Night Swim Hits Theaters in January

Blumhouse Horror fans are gearing up for another frightening film this Halloween with Night Swim, an all-new horror feature film about an infested pool featuring Wyatt Russell and Kerry Condon as the leads. Based on an original short created in 2014 by writers Bryce McGuire and Rod Blackhurst.
James Wan’s production company Atomic Monster partnered with Jason Blum’s Blumhouse on this film project, with both studios taking equal financial responsibilities. Wyatt Russell Opens Up About Being a Dad

Wyatt Russell first met Hagner while filming Folk Hero & Funny Guy in 2016 before marrying her less than two years later at Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s stunning Aspen cabin. Together they are now loving parents to Buddy, two, and are looking forward to welcoming his brother or sister soon!
Both actors can currently be seen appearing in Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters as older and younger versions of Army Col. Lee Shaw – a government agent who’s come across Godzilla and other monsters along his travels.
