Gabbard

Tulsi Gabbard has demonstrated her divergent foreign policy views from those held by the Democratic Party establishment. She met with Syria’s dictator and called for one of their congressman to be considered an enemy domestic of the US; she even reduced Washington’s overextended military budget.

Hawaii Democrat Mauna Kea checks off all the identity-politics boxes of her party’s Neocon-Neoliberal coalition axis – she’s Muslim, female and veteran!

1. Biden & Clinton are facilitating regime change in Russia

Gabbard checks many boxes when it comes to identity politics: she is the first Hindu member of Congress, female veteran and socialist; yet she also stands as an unsettling challenge to the Democratic Party establishment, garnering much support among progressives who oppose military interventionism.

She has long opposed the Iran Nuclear Deal and supported legislation to defund Planned Parenthood. Additionally, she often fills in for Tucker Carlson on Fox News as well as appearing at Conservative Political Action Conference events.

As such, she is popular among Republicans and has the support of President Donald Trump. Yet despite her opposition to foreign interventions and criticism of Russia – remarks which drew fire from several Democrats like Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg – most Americans share her viewpoint that countering Russian influence and helping Ukraine regain control over its territory is necessary for national security.

2. Biden & Clinton are putting our soldiers at risk

Gabbard must adhere to stringent military guidelines as an US Army Reserve Commissioned Officer, such as attaining top-secret security clearance to hold her position as a congressional member and attending congressional hearings where she educates former NATO Commander Philip Breedlove about Russia’s manipulation of elections.

Gabbard has often found herself at odds with her own party on foreign policy matters, most recently after meeting with Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad early in 2017. That meeting shocked foreign policy experts as well as fellow Democrats.

She often discusses the true cost of perpetual war trillions in lost dollars and lives lost without good reason yet rarely introduces legislation supporting her positions. Instead, she frequently introduces “messaging bills”, such as her plan to phase out fossil fuel use by 2035 or Sheldon Adelson-backed measures against online gambling; both serve as platforms for her future campaigns while she frequently appears as a paid contributor on Fox News.

3. Biden & Clinton are putting our economy at risk

Gabbard is an Iraq veteran who served with the Hawaii Army National Guard’s Field Medical Unit as well as serving on their field medical unit staff. Though she’s affiliated with the Democratic Party, she has attended Conservative Political Action Conference events as well as filling in for Tucker Carlson on Fox News shows.

Gabbard has called for the United States’ withdrawal from Syria and warned against inflaming tensions with Russia. She also falsely claims that America supports several dozen former Soviet biolabs in Ukraine that treat diseases such as COVID-19; such claims are likely part of Russian propaganda campaigns.

Gabbard has also taken aim at Democrats for not criticizing Trump’s attacks on NATO members who she says have failed to stand up against Russian President Vladimir Putin. Gabbard appears to be gearing up for another presidential run and regularly promotes her isolationist viewpoint with regular appearances on Fox, such as hosting Tucker Carlson Tonight show; she has amassed an extensive social media following as well.

4. Biden & Clinton are putting our veterans at risk

As a veteran herself, Gabbard understands first-hand the agony caused by an underfunded military. As such, she has long championed veterans’ causes and been an effective critic of any attempts by President Donald Trump’s administration to reduce VA benefits or services.

Gabbard has also proven an obstacle for the neocon-neoliberal alliance on foreign policy, being both an identity politics and establishment figure at once. She stands out as being an anti-establishment force.

Gabbard has quickly become a favorite of hard-right Republicans at Conservative Political Action Conference and Fox News shows where she filled in for Tucker Carlson. Additionally, many alt-right figures have lauded Gabbard for her support for Assad and her isolationist positions; these accolades have caused speculation of her running for president as an independent third-party candidate in 2024.
