Trump Endorses Daughter-In-Law Lara trump For RNC Co-Chair Position

What’s In It For Lara?

Former President Donald Trump has given Lara Trump, his daughter-in-law, his backing to take on an influential leadership role with the Republican National Committee and selected Michael Whatley to succeed Ronna McDaniel as co-chair of their committee.

They will campaign together with Nikki Haley, former U.S. ambassador to the UN. Trump hopes that these measures will allow him to win back control of both houses of Congress with American-first patriots who share his agenda.

Lara Trump addressed an audience of supporters Wednesday afternoon at VFW Post 8760 on Castle Rock Road in Beaufort. She encouraged voters to back Republican candidates running in the 2024 elections – such as North Carolina Senator Richard Burr – as she encouraged voters to vote Republican in 2024 elections.

She highlighted the “remarkable” economic performance under her father-in-law, including low unemployment, meetings with foreign leaders about denuclearizing Korea, more affordable energy and voter integrity protection measures by fighting illegal ballot harvesting and restricting early voting.

Why Does She Want To Run?

After the midterm elections, it became widely reported that women stood to make significant political gains. Nonpartisan women’s leadership organizations like She Should Run and EMILY’s List saw dramatic increases in membership; at the same time, traditional Democratic women’s clubs reported higher levels of interest from prospective members.

Women considering running for office often cite dissatisfaction with the current administration, the desire to tackle corruption and incompetence, change their community or represent underrepresented populations as reasons why they might consider running.

Campaigns may present several drawbacks for individuals, including costs and public scrutiny as well as their potential to cause strain in personal relationships and damage close ties. They might even worry about any effects it might have on families and careers – yet what motivates individuals to risk all this for personal gain? The answer to that question lies within itself – complex.

How Does It Work?

Ballot harvesting, legal in states that permit it, involves going directly to voters who requested absentee ballots and asking whether they need help turning them in. Political operatives on both sides often use this tactic. “From a voter’s point of view, it could be seen as an act of kindness for someone else to turn in their ballot,” states election expert Wendy Underhill.

Trump’s use of “harvesting votes” seems to imply that Democrats want to steal or “harvest” votes from voters without consent, which suggests more like theft than political strategy. That doesn’t stop Trump and his allies from using it as a rallying cry ahead of midterms elections, however.

What Does It Mean?

Donald Trump took another step toward consolidating his control of the Republican National Committee by endorsing Lara Trump to serve on its executive board as one of three co-chairs alongside Michael Whatley (chair of North Carolina GOP) and senior RNC adviser Chris LaCivita (adviser). Lara would join these three. In a Facebook post posted Monday night, Lara Trump was announced as co-chair alongside Whatley and LaCivita.

If elected, she would lead a team of Trump loyalists that have been pushing his allegations of election fraud in the US. Ballot harvesting involves sending people directly to voter doors in order to collect absentee ballots; laws regarding how many ballots a person can collect vary between states.

Though individual instances of voter fraud do occur, it’s unlikely that widespread schemes to harvest ballots against voters’ wishes on such an enormous scale as Trump claims. Furthermore, many experts oppose his push for laws mandating voter identification laws as being valid solutions.
