Ford Motor Co. saw sales rise slightly year-on-year thanks to strong hybrid vehicle purchases helping offset the decline of battery-electric vehicles.

The Data Center houses an Excel file containing pivot tables to show preliminary EV sales results.

Ford Maverick Hybrid

The 2024 Maverick is the first pickup truck to feature standard hybrid technology. Equipped with a 191-hp four-cylinder electric motor coupled with an eCVT and front-wheel drive, its hybrid configuration enables low speeds driving solely by electric power alone and boasts an impressive 37 mpg combined city/highway fuel economy rating.

Maverick may be one of the best pickup values available today due to its incredible fuel efficiency, roomy cabin, and engaging drive. There’s also plenty of storage space including its rear-facing 4.5-foot bed; EcoBoost and off-road packages can further expand its capabilities.

Maverick stands alone as a small pickup offering an efficient hybrid powertrain, unlike Hyundai Santa Cruz which more closely resembles a compact crossover than an actual truck.

F-150 Hybrid

Ford F-150 trucks have long been considered the leader of American pickup markets, providing power, useful features for towing trailers, comfort ride quality and multiple configuration options. Now buyers can enjoy all this while benefiting from even greater fuel economy with their new Power boost hybrid version.

The hybrid version of the F-150 features a twin-turbocharged V-6 with an electric motor and 1.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack to produce approximately 400 horsepower, and can travel 700 miles on one tank of gas.

Ford has warned its EVs will take time to become profitable, while betting heavily on hybrid offerings. On Thursday during its earnings call, the company stated how the hybrid division known as “Ford Blue” helped offset losses caused by its EVs and Mustang Mach E crossover during the third quarter. Furthermore, they expect their EVs will become profitable by 2026.

Ford Mustang Mach-E

If you’re considering going all-electric, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is an attractive option. As a four-door electric SUV that still captures Mustang performance values.

Mustang Mach-E is instantly identifiable due to its sleek design and angular front fascia, with the Mustang logo proudly displayed where the grill normally would. Furthermore, its rear haunch design and iconic tri-bar tail lamps complete its iconic appearance.

Inside, the Mustang Mach-E offers ample passenger room. Additionally, you will find ample cargo room thanks to the battery pack’s 4.7 cubic foot frunk space.

Standard features of the Mustang Mach-E 2022 include Phone As A Key, SYNC 4, and a 15.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, while higher trim levels feature multicolor ambient lighting and a premium 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system with 10 speakers. You’ll also get Co-Pilot360 driver assist technology such as automatic emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control – enough to earn it the IIHS’ Top Safety Pick designation!

E-Transit

Ford and its competitors must meet the unique needs of commercial users as electric vehicles (EVs) become an increasing part of fleet composition. Their E-Transit fulfills this need with its large-bodied electric cargo van design that saves businesses the most on fuel costs while simultaneously decreasing lifetime fleet CO2 emissions by 57%.

The E-Transit gives fleet managers peace of mind when operating electric vehicles, thanks to Ford Co-Pilot360 technology7 such as Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Speed Sign Recognition and Lane-Keeping Assist, Auto High Beams and Reverse Brake Assist. While such features would go unnoticed by most motorists driving typical passenger vehicles, they help fleet drivers maintain driving standards and confidence in the vehicle.

Ford Pro offers fleets needing charging access at their worksite a customized solution; for instance if a bakery is situated in an underground parking garage that cannot be converted for charging purposes. They will install cloud-connected E-Transit chargers within existing parking lot space and incorporate their cost into financing package for this model.
