Paul George carried himself with authority. His rhythm kept the game flowing without missteps or trips on its track, creating an orchestra of motion with every move he made.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander provided the engine in front, Lu Dort supplied energy off the bench, Isaiah Joe made reliable shots, while Daniel Theis and Mason Plumlee served as solid defenders who kept opponents at bay.

Paul George Scores Season-High 38 Points

Paul George scored 38 points to lead the Los Angeles Clippers past Oklahoma City Thunder 128-117 and earn their ninth win in 11 games. James Harden and Kawhi Leonard contributed 16 each while Mason Plumlee contributed 14 in his first start as injured center Ivica Zubac was out with injury.

After an uneven first half, Paul George found his rhythm in the fourth quarter, hitting two 3-pointers and capping it off with a steal and reverse dunk for 18 of his 38 points in that final frame to help Los Angeles pull away from an upstart Thunder squad that never quit fighting back.

Jalen Williams scored 25 points and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 19 for Oklahoma City as it dropped for a second consecutive time at Los Angeles and fell to 27-13 on the road. Oklahoma City lost its sixth game of six against Los Angeles Clippers who now stand at 26-14 and their eighth straight home loss against Oklahoma City Thunder.

James Harden and Kawhi Leonard Add 16 Points Each

Paul George scored 18 of his season-high 38 points in the fourth quarter to propel Los Angeles Clippers past Oklahoma City Thunder 128-117 on Tuesday night, defeating them 128-118, without center Ivica Zubac (calf injury). Los Angeles now stands an NBA-best 18-4 since December began.

Mason Plumlee made his first start since November and did an outstanding job of preventing Oklahoma City from dominating in the paint. With 13 points remaining at halftime, George and Daniel Theis used an 11-2 run that culminated in Theis’ 3-pointer and George’s one-handed dunk to turn things around and pull away.

The Clippers appear to have found their rhythm on defense and offense with Leonard leading by example with both defensive effort and efficient scoring at Frost Bank Center, prompting fans to cheer him rather than jeer him for long-term contracts.

Mason Plumlee Adds 14 Points

Paul George scored 18 of his season-high 38 points in the fourth quarter alone to lead Los Angeles Clippers past Oklahoma City Thunder by 128-117 on Tuesday night. James Harden and Kawhi Leonard each added 16 points as Los Angeles advanced without center Ivica Zubac due to calf injury, improving its record to an NBA-best 18-4 since December 1st.

Plumlee made his first start of the year in Zubac’s absence and did an admirable job limiting the Thunder’s offense in the paint. If he can continue getting significant playing time, Plumlee may be worth considering in deeper leagues.

Backup center Daniel Theis performed admirably without either frontcourt starter available to him, though only owned in 12% of leagues currently. If Zubac is out for an extended period of time, his fantasy value should increase accordingly – Theis played nearly 20 minutes with nine points, eight rebounds, and three blocks during that span, making him a wise investment for deeper formats.

Clippers Win for 9th Time in 11 Games

After an initially slow start, the Clippers appear to have found their footing. Since acquiring James Harden via trade with Philadelphia and winning four straight since, they’re 14-3 overall with just one loss in those four contests since.

With their win against Oklahoma City Thunder, the Clippers have now won nine in a row to improve their record to 25-13 and stay within striking distance for fourth place in Western Conference standings.

Los Angeles used an aggressive offense in the second quarter, highlighted by seven three-point shooters including Seth Struharik (10 points in total and one three-pointer), Ian Less, Mason Plumlee and Jalen Williams – to build up an overwhelming lead before halftime.
