Robert Kraft, 82, thanked Belichick for remaining by his side throughout his coaching tenure – even during two major cheating investigations that cost the Patriots draft picks. Belichick will likely explore other head coaching vacancies across the NFL; but with an elegant farewell like this – an eventful and respectful farewell will serve as the ideal endpoint of one of the greatest coaching tenures ever in NFL history.
