LeBron

LeBron James will go down in history as one of the greats, having had such an immense impact on basketball and inspiring so many to follow their dreams. He has left an incredible legacy.

James stands out in an age of endless debate and pointless lists by being more than an athlete; and his brand of storytelling for SpringHill Company called ‘Uninterrupted’ shows it.

Fifth Consecutive Win

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James scored 25 points before appearing to mildly injure his right ankle, helping them beat New Orleans Pelicans for their fifth consecutive win. James made several spectacular plays while running fast break, such as throwing Anthony Davis a no-look bounce pass without looking.

Nikola Jokic misses a free throw, leading the Lakers to seize a defensive rebound. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope commits a foul, prompting substitutions.

8 rebounds and 7 assists

LeBron James registered 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists while Taurean Prince hit a game-winning 3-pointer with 1:17 left to give Los Angeles Lakers their fourth consecutive victory against surging Los Angeles Clippers.

With this win, the Lakers came within 491 points of breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time NBA scoring record and James is on track to surpass it by February.

LeBron James led with 40 points

The Lakers stormed past Oklahoma City in the second quarter to take their first double-digit lead since defeating Denver two weeks earlier in Las Vegas. LeBron James led with 40 points, setting an NBA season high.

James took advantage of a double team to deliver an uncontested layup to Caruso without interference or contest. Additionally, James made two deep three-pointers.

26-point lead by the third quarter

The Lakers have become adept at winning games at Staples Center, but this was no ordinary game versus a playoff contender.

James made several big shots and helped the Lakers open up a 26-point lead by the third quarter. Yet Oklahoma City kept pushing forward.

Darvin Ham managed his lineup effectively and clearly identified who was on his team. It worked.

3-point attempt

James set the tone shortly after halftime with a powerful dunk on Paul George and went on to score 16 points in the third quarter as his Lakers held off a late run by one of the league’s hottest teams until Norman Powell’s 3-point attempt ricocheted in and out at the buzzer.

Darvin Ham made an unconventional lineup change on the Lakers by swapping out point guard D’Angelo Russell for defensive specialist Jarred Vanderbilt. The switch forced them to focus more heavily on defense while giving them a newfound sense of identity.

16 points away from surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

James was 16 points away from surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time scoring mark at halftime and made history when he made a setback jumper to break it in the third quarter.

Lakers needed an upbeat victory after dropping two consecutive games and are hoping to avoid NBA’s new play-in system for seventh through 10th seeds.

491 points away from reaching 40,000

James stands 491 points away from reaching 40,000 career points and may reach this landmark before February is out. To do so safely this season, James must pace himself.

Taurean Prince hit a game-winning 3-pointer, as LeBron James scored 40+ points for a 75th time vs. their rivals the Suns. It marked their fourth-straight win.

LeBron James provided much-needed inspiration

After suffering through an uninspiring stretch of games, LeBron James provided much-needed inspiration. While running fast break, he made driving layups which helped the Lakers build up an 18 point lead and eventually win.

Coach Darvin Ham, after winning the inaugural in-season tournament of the NBA, made changes to his starting lineup based on that tournament victory and saw it through, leading his Lakers to their first win in four matches.

no-look bounce pass to Davis

James quickly made an impressionful return with an innocuous, no-look bounce pass to Davis while running a fast break and also converted several contested drives into baskets.

He recorded six assists in the first half, but his standout moment came when he defended two defenders on a drive and finished it off with a no-look one-hand finish to score 23 points himself and help score an additional 57. His teammates contributed another 15 points total.

surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

James is on pace to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time career scoring record this season; currently 491 points separate them.

James took a hard hit from Josh Giddey while driving, yet continued playing without showing signs of discomfort. He missed two 3-point attempts before sinking his third.

He led the Lakers to a 106-103 victory against Denver Nuggets.
