Los Angeles Clippers Win 25 of Their Last 30 Games, Beating Miami Heat 103-95

Los Angeles Clippers maintained their winning ways with a 103-95 victory against Miami Heat Sunday night to stay hot. Kawhi Leonard delivered 25 points and 11 rebounds, while James Harden scored 16 of his 21 points during the second half as they extended their streak since December 1. Los Angeles improved to 25-5 since starting this month.

Tyler Herro was sidelined due to a migraine headache shortly before tip-off, leaving the Heat without one of their top 3-point shooters.

James Harden flirted with a triple-double

The Los Angeles Clippers have won six of seven games and kept their winning streak alive by defeating the Miami Heat 103-95 on Sunday night. Kawhi Leonard posted 25 points and 11 rebounds, while James Harden came close to recording a triple-double by tallying 13 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists – two impressive performances that kept their hot streak intact.

Harden leads the league in scoring, rebounding and assists. He already has 14 triple-doubles – more than LeBron James had all season – which makes him an efficient threat across multiple categories with his high usage rate that many teams attempt to limit.

Reserve point guard Raymond Felton tied his career-high with 26 points and eight assists, while DeAndre Jordan contributed 16 points and 12 rebounds, forward Mason Plumlee scored double figures and Norman Powell hit single digits as well. Despite starting slowly and trailing 17 points by halftime, only seven fouls were committed during this first period – an unprecedented low total seen this season! The Clippers defeated their opponent after starting slowly.

Kawhi Leonard had 25 points and 11 rebounds

Leonard led all scorers with 25 points as Los Angeles extended its winning streak to three games and improved to 20-4 since December began. Additionally, he contributed 11 rebounds – making him one of the best per-game values available to 8- and 9-cat leagues.

After an uneven first quarter, the Clippers quickly took control with a dominating offensive performance in the second. Their shooting percentage rose to 34.8 from the field and 6 of 13 3-point attempts during that quarter.

The Clippers outscored the Heat 40-19 in the third quarter to pull away and win by an easy margin. Terance Mann had his highest scoring output of the season at 23 points while Norman Powell made 16. James Harden provided 17 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and four steals in 36 minutes of play – no NBA game had as few first-half fouls this year than this matchup; now 29-1 when leading after three quarters this season!

The Clippers held the Heat to their fewest points in more than four weeks

After falling behind by 11 points in the opening quarter, the Clippers came storming back with an astounding second half performance. Shooting 50% from the field and 51.9 from 3-point range while outscoring Miami 27-12 in the paint and making 17 of 20 free throw attempts (more successful free throw attempts than any team in NBA this season).

Leonard finished with 25 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and four double-doubles in 35 minutes – his third consecutive and fourth this month.

The victory pushed the Clippers to an impressive 5-1 mark on their seven-game, 11-day road trip that started when their home arena for both their Los Angeles Lakers sister team was taken over for Sunday night’s Grammy Awards ceremony. Additionally, since December 1st they’ve amassed 25-5 record in NBA – the best record overall over this span.

The Clippers are 25-5 since the start of December

The Los Angeles Clippers have been on the road for almost two weeks due to Grammy Awards-related obligations, yet that hasn’t slowed them down one bit. Since December’s start they are 25-5 and still very much alive in terms of playoff contention and remaining competitive throughout this second half of the season.

Paul George continues to demonstrate that he can be one of the league’s premier scorers and lead his Clippers back into playoff contention, posting another impressive double-double performance against Miami last night.
